The Steven E. Shepherd Community Foundation (SESCF) is dedicated to transforming the lives of underserved men and young boys on the Westside of Indianapolis. Named in honor of Steven E. Shepherd Sr., we recognize the unique challenges faced by men and boys in our neighborhoods and strive to provide the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive.
Our mission is to empower individuals to overcome obstacles and achieve long-term success through holistic support services. We offer a range of initiatives, including resource navigation, educational and employment programs, wellness initiatives, and mental health support. By fostering a strong network of mentorship and community engagement, we create pathways for personal growth and healing.
